I'm not exactly sure when I started drawing these cities. All I know is that the lines suddenly started flowing through my hands and was quite different from how it is now; I was probably planning much more, but now understand that it was a way to warm up my body to receive what would eventually take shape in these drawings—some might call it escapism, I prefer the term meditation (maybe that's why the word drawing is so similar to drowning).

In each city, if you look closely, you’ll find something hidden, and that’s where I truly am.
